We seek an experienced Engineering Director with CA experience to lead a team of engineers and foster a positive, high-performing environment. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned professional passionate about career development and team leadership. This opportunity is located by the beach, a beautiful place to live, Renowned Community Hospital, and one of the most stable hospitals and systems in all CA.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor an interim manager to transition into a permanent Director role.
Focus on improving team morale, building trust, and creating a collaborative, supportive work culture.
Help differentiate in-house services from contracted services and ensure efficient operations.
Oversee and optimize our building management systems, particularly Service Now.
There may be opportunities for construction-related projects in the future, although landscaping and other services are currently contracted out.
Ideal Candidate:
- Significant experience in CA, with a strong leadership track record.
- A career-focused individual who can guide and develop others.
- Ability to navigate complex team dynamics and foster a positive work environment.
- Experience with building management systems (Service Now preferred).
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Someone happy being in a Dir role for the next handful of years or so and who would like to mentor a great, strong, and willing manager to eventually step up.
