Ordnance Assembler

Join PTI Technologies as a Contract Ordnance Assembler I and work with cutting‑edge technology and energetic materials in a high‑performance aerospace environment. The role is onsite at our Oxnard, CA location and begins as a temporary employee with the goal of direct hiring after meeting required hours.

• Perform entry‑level manufacturing and assembly tasks for miniature Cartridge‑Actuated Devices (CAD) and Propellant‑Actuated Devices (PAD).
• Operate assembly equipment under close supervision.
• Weigh and press pyrotechnic powders following approved procedures.
• Meet assigned job completion schedules and conduct self‑inspections to ensure quality and production requirements.
• Accurately report run times and quantities.
• Maintain assigned equipment and work areas, promptly reporting any out‑of‑tolerance conditions, quality concerns, or equipment issues to supervision.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and travelers.
• Basic math skills.
• Familiarity with standard measuring instruments (SMI).
• Prepared to work in environments involving machinery, chemicals, noise, and explosives; willingness to use personal protective equipment.
