The Wire Processing Technician – Entry Level position supports the production team by preparing wire used in oil filled cable process. This is an entry-level manufacturing role and no prior experience or specialized skills are required. Training will be provided.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, willing to learn new processes, and able to work both independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for assisting with wire preparation activities to support production operations and ensure quality standards are met.

• Operate and program wire processing equipment, including Schleuniger machines
• Load and set up wire materials in equipment to measure, cut and strip wire
• Collect and organize cut wire materials
• Verify wire lengths and accuracy according to work instructions
• Remove insulation from designated wire ends
• Pre-tin wires using solder pot equipment
• Apply identification number flags using Brady labeling equipment
• Twist wires together into twisted pairs as needed
• Install wires into Tygon tubing as needed
• Place completed wire preparations into designated job totes
• Transact M1 operations
• Follow all company quality standards, safety procedures, and production requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
