Electro-Mechanical Technician (2nd Shift)
Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to join their team. As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will be supporting the Advanced Purity Solutions Division. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, safety consciousness, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Location:
San Luis Obispo, CA
Pay Range: $23-$25/hr + 10% shift differential in addition to pay for the 2nd shift.
Shift: Monday through Friday, 2nd Shift (3pm-11:30pm)
What's the Job?
- Perform tasks related to building Ultra High Purity Systems, including manufacturing various sub-assemblies to engineering specifications.
- Assist with routing cables and conduit on systems, ensuring proper installation and safety compliance.
- Follow instructions, drawings, schematics, and process documentation to assemble mechanical, electrical subassemblies, and systems.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and 6S responsibilities.
- Work collaboratively with team members and independently to meet production goals and quality standards.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- 1-2 years' experience in mechanical assembly or relevant technical experience.
- Ability to learn navigation through operating systems to find BOMs, drawings, and instructions.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs daily and climb ladders as needed.
- Strong attention to detail, focus on safety, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
