Role Overview
As an LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) or LPT (Licensed Psychiatric Technician) you are responsible for providing basic medical services to patients in an outpatient recovery environment, maintaining professional nursing practice standards, ensuring safe medication delivery per company policy, and maintaining thorough documentation of patient records and medical files per state and federal regulations.
Pay Range$28 - $30 per hour, plus premium pay eligible

- Active and current California nursing or technician license (includes Registered Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse, or Licensed Psychiatric Technician), along with current CPR and first aid certification.
- Experience with triaging in emergency situations and assisting with medical emergencies.
- Implement all aspects of receiving, storing, and dispensing controlled and non‑controlled substances.
- Perform daily reconciliation of controlled substances as required by applicable federal and state regulations.
- Maintain accurate individual patient medication dosage sheets and urinalysis results per regulations.
- Administer medication dosages and evaluate patients for side effects or reactions.
- Document and sign entries in patient treatment records as required.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and security at the dispensing window.
- Administer medication to patients who are locally hospitalized, as needed.
- Provide documentation to Medical Director and/or Clinic Manager as required.
- Ensure all forms are completed in their entirety.
- Maintain patient charts and filing.
- Ensure knowledge of and observe applicable federal and state regulations.
- Orient new patients to the program’s policies, rules, and procedures.
