Per-diem DAY & NOC shift
DAY shift: 7:00 am to 7:30 pm
NOC shift: 7:00 pm to 7:30 am
12-hour shifts (every shift includes 4 hours of overtime pay)
Salary range: $18.00-$21.50 per hour, based on experience
$2 per hour NOC shift differential
Blended salary range (base pay + overtime pay): $21.00-$25.08 per hour

We are currently seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant who is kind, hardworking and dedicated to helping us provide compassionate, gentle care to our residents. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in an inpatient or long-term care facility and is capable of providing Activities of Daily Living such as helping patients with bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, and recreational activities, as well as documenting care and taking vital signs.
The successful candidate for this position enjoys working with individuals with special needs and having the opportunity to make a true difference in their lives.
Responsibilities:
Provide basic bedside care such as assisting the patient in moving to and from bed and ensuring that the patient's condition is monitored properly with consistent assessments
Assist patients with dressing or bathing as directed by the supervising nurse.
Observe patients and report changes to the nurse
Provide basic support to convalescing patients
Assist with mobility exercises and range of motion activities
Qualifications:
Completion of CNA certification program;
Current California CNA certification
One year CNA experience preferred, ideally experience with medically complex patients
Current in CPR for Healthcare Provider
Ability to effectively communicate with staff, residents, and families
A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach

Conduct assessments, implement health care plans, and respond to changes of condition
Communicate with the physician and external medical centers to ensure consistency of essential medical information
Monitor and ensure physicians orders are documented and carried out as prescribed
