Membership Specialist

The Membership Specialist (MS) represents UFC GYM by providing a welcoming, informative, and entertaining experience for all members and guests. The role focuses on driving potential members into the gym and delivering industry‑leading customer services, achieving revenue targets through internal and external prospecting.

• Lead Generation & Appointment Booking
  • External marketing, promotions, and prospecting (daily activities, off‑site promotions, distributing passes, building local merchant relationships, branding events).
  • Internal marketing and prospecting (collecting leads at enrollment and from current members, referral programs).
  • Book membership appointments via phone activities to meet or exceed monthly appointment goals.
  • Ensure appointments result in sufficient guest attendance and meet or exceed monthly guest goals.
• Guest Touring & Membership Presentations
  • Present the Fitness Tour to 100% of touring guests as described in the Playbook, aiming to enroll half of the guests (50% closing) and 25% into Personal Training.
  • Use approved presentations for membership options; ensure each new member meets a manager before closing the sale.
  • Achieve personal sales room financial goals each month, including New Member Sales Revenue, Personal Training sales, and EFT sets.
  • Maintain accuracy of each sale by attaching supporting documents and signatures.
• Customer Service
  • Follow up with enrolled members to exceed expectations.
  • Provide high‑level customer service in all interactions.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and operational facility.
  • Attempt to retain members who request cancellation; if unsuccessful, a manager must approve the cancellation.
• Miscellaneous
  • Adhere to the sales schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays; request days off in writing.
  • Attend mandatory monthly team meetings and daily production meetings.
  • Follow uniform policy (UFC Gym black polo, dress slacks or jeans, dress shoes, no athletic shoes).
  • Record time worked via the check‑in system; submit any punch adjustments to management.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of company sales training and orientation program.

• 1–2 years of sales experience preferred.

$16.00 – $45.00 per hour.
