** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

+ Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations in accordance with post instructions.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouses, loading and unloading areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or operational disruptions.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information as directed, and report suspicious behavior, damaged property, and/or policy concerns to the appropriate contact.

+ Support daily operations by communicating with site personnel, following Allied Universal post orders, and completing required security-related reports and/or logs.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ A guard card and/or license is preferred.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
