Security Guard Part Time in Oxnard, CA
. As a Part-Time Security Officer you will safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. In this unarmed role you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. You will support daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and a caring approach while bringing an agile, reliable, and innovative mindset to every shift.

Part Time

$20.80 per Hour

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe foot and vehicle traffic, and assist with visitor and contractor access in accordance with property rules and post instructions.
• Support day‑to‑day property operations by communicating with onsite personnel, providing directions and assistance, and completing routine reports related to patrol activity and incidents.

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
