Job Coach Floater - Direct Support Professional

PathPoint is seeking a PART‑TIME Job Coach Floater to join our Employment Services team in the Camarillo, Oxnard and Ventura areas. As a Job Coach, you will provide instruction, support, and supervision to adults with mild to moderate disabilities inside and outside the workplace.

The schedule varies; flexibility for nights and weekends is required. Paid training, First Aid and CPR certification are provided. In addition to coaching, you may be assigned to other programs.

• Accompany individuals to various work sites, observe their abilities, and identify areas for improvement. Provide feedback and assistance to increase productivity and encourage positive work behavior.
• Coach and counsel individuals on workplace issues, and advocate for them when needed.
• Assist individuals in completing work‑related paperwork such as time cards, time‑off requests, tax forms, and benefits enrollment.
• Maintain relationships with employers and workplace supervisors, and act as liaison.
• Assist in developing and implementing individualized plans to help participants work more independently toward self‑sufficiency.
• Actively participate in meetings and discussions regarding individual progress.
• Maintain daily logs and reports.

• High school diploma or GED required; BA/BS in Education, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or related field preferred.
• Prior experience supporting or instructing individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Ability to pass Live Scan DOJ fingerprint background check, TB screening, and basic health screening.
• Valid driver's license with at least 5‑year driving history, satisfactory record, and a vehicle with current registration and insurance.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact positively with individuals with disabilities, family members, social workers, employers, and others.
• Optimistic attitude and ability to give encouraging verbal feedback regularly.
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office, email, and Internet.

Position pays $22.75 per hour (range $21.14–$23.36 per hour) plus mileage reimbursement. Benefits include paid sick time, 403(b) retirement savings plan with employer match, free Employee Assistance Program, wellness program with cash rewards, and housing assistance.
