Job Title:
Inventory Control & Logistics Specialist
Location: Oxnard, CA
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay: $22.00 / hourly
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control & Logistics Specialist to support inventory management, shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating material flow, supporting production needs, and ensuring products are received, stored, and shipped efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing documentation
- Unload, unpack, label, and organize incoming materials and inventory
- Document received quantities and report shortages, discrepancies, or damaged materials
- Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with replenishment activities
- Pull, stage, and kit materials for production and customer orders
- Prepare, label, and package products for shipment
- Build crates, pallets, and shipping containers as needed
- Return unused materials to inventory and maintain proper stock locations
- Operate a sit-down propane forklift to transport materials and finished goods
- Coordinate material movement throughout the facility to support production schedules
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Assist with shipping, receiving, logistics, and general warehouse operations
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Previous inventory control, logistics, warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred
- Forklift operation experience required
- Mechanical aptitude preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to accurately count, track, and maintain inventory records
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
