BBA After school Inc. is hiring an enthusiastic, creative, and dependable After-School Dance Instructor to lead engaging dance enrichment activities for elementary-aged students in Oxon Hill, MD
.

This is a great opportunity for a dance instructor, dancer, choreographer, performer, teacher, youth instructor, or anyone passionate about dance and working with children.

• Part-time, after-school position

• 1.5-hour sessions

• $45 per session ($30 per hour)

• Monday through Friday

• No weekends

• No lesson planning required

• Curriculum and materials provided

• In-person position in Oxon Hill

Instructors will teach students the basic fundamentals of dance through fun and age-appropriate activities, including:

• Basic dance movements

• Rhythm and musicality

• Coordination and body awareness

• Beginner choreography

• Creative movement

• Performance skills

• Flexibility and movement

• Teamwork and confidence

The goal is to help students develop foundational dance skills while building confidence, creativity, coordination, and self-expression.

• Lead engaging dance sessions for elementary students

• Teach basic, age-appropriate dance fundamentals

• Demonstrate movements and simple choreography

• Encourage creativity, confidence, teamwork, and participation

• Follow BBA#39;s structured curriculum and activities

• Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment

• Supervise and engage students throughout each session

• Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership

• Dance instructors

• Dancers and performers

• Choreographers

• Dance studio instructors

• Cheer or movement instructors

• Performing arts educators

• Teachers and substitute teachers

• Camp counselors

• Youth instructors

• College students and recent graduates

• Anyone passionate about dance and working with children

• Dance, choreography, performance, or movement experience preferred but not required

• Experience working with children is a plus

• Comfortable working with elementary-aged students

• Creative, patient, and energetic

• Reliable and punctual

• Reliable transportation to the program location

• Must successfully complete the required background check process
