Paramedic – Occupational Health Technician
Location: Alexandria, VA
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday: 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Saturday: 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Sunday:
As needed (based on project requirements)

Are you an experienced Healthcare Provider looking to use your skills in a proactive, prevention-focused environment—outside the stressors of EMS, ED, or hospital systems?
As an on-site Occupational Health Technician at Mobile Medical Corporation (MMC), you’ll play a key role in maintaining a safe and healthy workforce on active construction sites. You’ll provide injury triage, medical support, regulatory testing, and wellness guidance while collaborating with site safety leadership and project management.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Care- Triage and treat occupational and minor non-occupational injuries
- Provide follow-up care based on evidence-based medical protocols
- Support workers’ compensation and risk management processes
- Document all patient encounters in EMR
- Maintain a clean, fully stocked clinic
- Communicate effectively with MMC leadership and local providers
- Partner daily with the site safety team
- Lead “Stretch and Flex” programs and conduct site walks
- Identify workplace health risks and promote employee wellness initiatives
- Conduct new hire drug screens and orientation
- Perform substance abuse and occupational health testing
- Attend weekly team meetings to review cases and site updates
- Deliver excellent service to employees and site leadership
- Build trust and foster a positive work environment
This role requires strength, dexterity, and endurance to work in fast-paced, high-stress environments:
- Standing/Walking: Frequently to continuously on varied surfaces, indoors and outdoors; must be able to run when necessary
- Lifting/Carrying: Frequently up to 50 lbs; occasionally 100+ lbs (patients, equipment)
- Bending/Stooping/Crouching/Kneeling: Frequently at various angles; may be prolonged
- Climbing: Frequently, including stairs and vehicle entry/exit
- Reaching/Pushing/Pulling/Handling: Frequently to continuously, including equipment operation
- Hazards: Possible exposure to fumes, chemicals, bodily fluids, fire, extreme weather, and aggressive individuals; strict adherence to safety protocols required
- Current State Medical License at the required level or eligibility via NREMT, State Laws, or EMS/Nurses Compact
- Current ACLS certification
- OSHA-30 Certification (company-provided within 90 days)
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a licensed Healthcare Provider
- Emergency, occupational, or industrial safety experience preferred
