Configuration Analyst
We are seeking a detail-oriented Configuration Analyst to join our FEMA team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our configuration management processes and systems. This role involves creating, maintaining, and updating configuration documents such as user guides, job aids, and standard operating procedures for configuration of the systems that are being supported.
Responsibilities- Create and maintain configuration deliverables such as guides and job aids.
- Establish and maintain working relationships with other areas, service providers, customers, and technical staff.
- Support configuration of GTD LGMS and FEMA GO systems.
- Support development and delivery of briefings and training to leadership, individuals, or teams across the program.
- Review and analyze compliance with process-specific standards and policies and stay abreast of process changes.
- Analyze help desk inquiries to identify and correct configuration errors in the GTD LGMS and FEMA GO systems.
- Support measurement and reporting for weekly and monthly meetings and as required.
- Identify areas for improvement in practices and recommend solutions.
- Support project management documentation and artifacts (project schedules, briefings, reports, etc.).
- Support Leads in efforts ensuring high performance and quality are consistent.
- Support development and maintenance of customer-required metrics and identify and recommend changes or additions to quality metrics and KPIs.
- Collaborate with configuration management teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout project life cycles.
- ITIL V3 or 4 certification and training
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior FEMA experience
- Advanced ITIL certifications or training
- Working knowledge with Service Now
