Mobile Fitter

The Best Connection are looking for an experienced Mobile Fitter to join our client based in Godstone. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in plant maintenance who takes pride in delivering a high-quality service to customers.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £35,741 - £42,000 per year

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm.

The role will involve travelling regularly to different customer locations to carry out maintenance, servicing and repairs on plant equipment
, ensuring machinery is kept safe, reliable and operational.

• Travel to customer sites to carry out planned and reactive maintenance on plant equipment.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and to a high standard.
• Identify, record and capture machine damage accurately.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate service and maintenance records.
• Communicate effectively with customers and your Line Manager, keeping them updated on work progress and any issues identified.
• Work closely with colleagues as part of a supportive and professional team.
• Maintain high standards across the workplace and customer sites.
• Follow all company procedures, processes, health and safety requirements.
• Deliver excellent customer service and represent the company professionally at all times.

• Previous experience in Plant Maintenance will be an advantage.
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical maintenance skills.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team and support colleagues.
• A flexible, self-motivated and positive approach to work.
• A willingness to undertake additional training and develop new skills.
• Flexibility to stay away from home when required.
