The Army Aviation Museum Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the history of U.S. Army Aviation. Established in 1970, the Foundation supports the U.S. Army Aviation Museum by safeguarding unique aircraft, artifacts, and memorabilia while educating the public and aviation students. Over the years, the Foundation has grown significantly, successfully raising funds to construct and expand the Museum. Since its opening, the Museum has become a key cultural and historical landmark in the Wiregrass area.

The Museum Foundation’s mission continues to be fostering an understanding and appreciation of Army Aviation.

The Army Aviation Museum Foundation is seeking an energetic, yet professional Part-Time Receptionist.

Job Overview
  • Type:
    Part-Time (24 hours per week)
  • Schedule:

    Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Hourly Rate: $12.75
Core Responsibilities
  • Guest Services:
    Warmly greet and accommodate guests.
  • Information:
    Answer incoming phone calls, manage calendars, schedule & set up for meetings and route inquiries accurately.
  • Administrative Support:
    Manage incoming email and mail, print/send/file documents, and run errands as needed.
  • Facility management:
    Keep the foundation office areas clean, organized, and properly stocked.
  • Additional duties as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Education:

    High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience:

    Admin experience preferred but not required
  • Base Access:
    Must be able to secure installation access to Fort Rucker.
  • Skills:

    Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Canva & Google Workspace
  • Attributes:
    Candidate must have friendly, professional demeanor with strong communication skills, be dependable and detail-oriented with the ability to solve problems, multitask and prioritize.
