We’re more than aviation experts, we’re pioneers. We challenge what’s possible—from breaking the sound barrier to advanced tiltrotor systems. Today, Bell is shaping the future of aviation through specialized engineering, and we want you.

This position is onsite in Ozark, AL. Initial training will take place at our corporate headquarters in Fort Worth, TX for five months, and additional travel may be required based on business needs.

As the Electronic Fleet Management System (EFMS) Specialist, you will serve as the primary coordination point for the integrated software systems supporting aircraft maintenance and training activities on the FSN program. You will collaborate closely with Bell IT and SAP implementation stakeholders to ensure alignment across the enterprise platforms is successful. Working closely with FSN Maintenance Control, Technical Records, Dispatch, Flight Operations, and subcontractors, you will ensure all integrated EFMS solutions are implemented, configured, and managed efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for the Electronic Fleet Management System (EFMS).
  • Coordinate between Bell IT, FSN business systems, Maintenance Control, Technical Records, and the Part 145 provider for all EFMS‑related activities.
  • Define business requirements and partner with Corporate ERP teams to meet the needs of Maintenance, Component Repair & Overhaul, Warehouse, Finance, and FSN stakeholders.
  • Act as an EFMS Power User: maintain business‑side configurations and templates within approved guidelines; escalate global or technical changes to IT.
  • Partner with IT on EFMS implementation and configuration activities—lead business process definition, user requirements, testing, and adoption.
  • Partner with IT on continuous improvement efforts, ensuring EFMS functionality continues to support evolving business processes.
  • Identify system risks and unknowns, develop mitigation plans, and manage issue resolution.
  • Monitor EFMS data accuracy and report system issues to IT.
  • Maintain the EFMS technical library and coordinate EFMS access requests with IT for all internal and external users.
  • Support audits, reporting requirements, and ad‑hoc requests from FSN leadership.
  • Develop and deliver system training to ensure user proficiency and consistent utilization.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry practices and interact professionally with internal teams and external vendors.
What You Bring to This Role
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, engineering, aviation management, supply chain, logistics, project management, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in aviation project management, operations, sustainment, supply chain, or fleet readiness roles.
  • Experience in RAMCO is required.
  • Experience coordinating across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Clear and concise communication with leadership, customers, and maintenance partners.
  • Proactive problem‑solver skilled in developing mitigation plans, tracking progress, and communicating status to leadership.
  • Experience guiding a team of members to learn a new system within tight project deadlines.
  • Experience leading project teams, providing training, and driving standardization and continuous improvement.
  • Proactive mindset with strong problem‑solving and decision‑making ability.
  • Ability to analyze gaps between business needs and supporting software/systems and work with IT team members to determine costs/changes required and explain them back to the business for approvals.
  • Experience supporting or executing U.S. Government contracts is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ERP, aircraft maintenance tracking, or sustainment‑related digital systems preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Part 91 and Part 145 FAA regulations preferred.
What We Offer You in Return
  • 80 hours of Personal Time Off (PTO)
  • 120 hours of vacation time
  • 2–13 paid holidays per year
  • 6 weeks of parental leave
  • Access to more than 11 Employee Resource Groups
