Overview
Anvil Industrial Group is looking to hire an Experienced Millwright with experience with industrial and construction equipment. Must be able to weld, fabricate, read blueprints, have a mechanical aptitude, and have a good work ethic. Will be required to move, assemble, install, and dismantle machinery at any industrial location. Process material, fabricate, and weld in our fabrication facility.
Responsibilities- Read and interpret fabrication blueprints.
- Read and interpret installation blueprints, schematics, and detailed repair drawings related to construction equipment and machinery.
- Dismantle equipment when required for repair or transportation and reassemble it at the appropriate time.
- Move equipment to the appropriate site for repair or maintenance to avoid contamination or workplace safety hazards.
- Create solid foundations for machines on-site and instruct other construction workers about safe and efficient interaction with machinery and equipment.
- Align and calibrate machinery and equipment parts as required for efficient and safe operations.
- Proven experience as a Millwright.
- Proficiency in extensive cutting, welding, and fabrication skills.
- Operating of cranes and/or rigging experience.
- Knowledge of industrial machinery and processes.
- Excellent natural problem-solving and analytical skills with mechanical aptitude.
- Able to read and understand schematics and blueprints.
- Able to work irregular hours, overtime, and weekends as needed to respond to emergency repairs and meet production demands.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to different job sites for machinery installations and repairs.
The pay rate is based upon the candidate's experience and qualifications, and passing the weld test.
