RESPONSIBILITIES
Communications planning. Build and steward an annual communications and engagement plan that carries the ministry's message to affiliates, alumni, referral partners, and the general public.
Storytelling and editorial. Own the editorial calendar and tell the ATC story in ways people respond to, drawing out accounts of transformation from students, alumni, and affiliates and shaping them into press releases, feature stories, blog posts, newsletters, infographics, and web copy that move donors and the public to give, refer, and get involved. Hold every piece to the ministry’s style guide and voice.
Audience growth. Grow reach and participation across owned channels by segmenting audiences, testing messaging, and refining what earns a response.
Campaign delivery. Carry integrated campaigns from concept through launch across email, social, search, display, print, and broadcast, keeping timing and message consistent on every channel.
Website stewardship. Act as day-to-day owner of the ATC website — maintaining pages, improving navigation and layout, and partnering with search contractors to strengthen visibility and route visitors to the right resources.
Program promotion. Create promotional materials, advertising, and launch communications that introduce ATC curriculum, programs, and services to new and existing audiences.
Event support. Prepare printed and digital pieces supporting events, conferences, and donor gatherings.
Audio and broadcast. Lead the ministry podcast — shaping episodes, coordinating production, and promoting releases— and place radio messaging with participating stations.
Partner coordination. Serve as point of contact for creative vendors, suppliers, media contacts, and outside contractors; brief them, review deliverables, and hold schedules.
Equipment stewardship. Own the ministry's camera, audio, and lighting inventory — tracking what is owned and where it is, keeping gear charged, maintained, and repaired, checking equipment in and out, and building and packing kits ahead of shoots and travel.
Insight and reporting. Track channel performance and audience trends, report results to the Advancement team, and recommend where to shift effort.
