Travel​/Contract Emergency Department RN - Up to $2,160​/week

Emergency Room Registered Nurse

The position is a local travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse assignment for a 13-week contract in Ozark, Alabama. The RN will deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department, supporting the team with assessments, interventions, and documentation. The role offers competitive weekly pay up to $2,160 based on experience.

• Provide safe, compassionate, evidence-based care to patients in the emergency department
• Perform comprehensive assessments, triage, and ongoing monitoring based on acuity
• Recognize changes in patient condition and respond promptly to emergent situations
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to orders and protocols
• Initiate and assist with emergency interventions, procedures, and treatments
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, technicians, and other team members
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in the electronic medical record
• Prioritize care effectively in a fast-paced emergency department environment
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, follow-up care, and discharge instructions
• Follow hospital policies, infection-control standards, patient-safety procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Provide professional, patient-centered care to individuals with a wide range of medical and emergency conditions
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment, communication, adaptability, and teamwork throughout the assignment

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse license eligible for practice in Alabama
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• CEN or TNCC certification required

• 12 months of Emergency Department or Emergency Room nursing experience preferred
• Experience caring for patients across a broad range of acuity levels strongly preferred
• Strong assessment, prioritization, critical-thinking, and emergency-response skills
• Previous travel or contract nursing experience preferred but not required
