Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, electrical, and HVAC.
- Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and accurately, following Chevrolet dealership standards.
- Conduct inspections on new and used vehicles to ensure safety and quality.
- Test-drive vehicles and utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to identify issues.
- Communicate with Service Advisors about repair status, estimates, and customer recommendations.
- Execute warranty repairs and recall work according to GM guidelines.
- Previous experience as an automotive technician, auto mechanic, or dealership service tech preferred - all levels encouraged to apply.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment and follow repair procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and customer-first mindset.
- Willingness to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Attendance and punctuality are critical to the success of this position's essential functions
- Expected pay range for entry level technicians is $41,600 - $60,000 per year, with top performers earning $90,000 - $100,000
