POSITION OVERVIEWWe’re looking for a highly systems-minded Operations Finance Specialist to work directly with the leadership team to improve how our business operates.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving operational problems with data, building better processes, and turning insights into action.
This role is a Doer and not someone that just crunches numbers.
You’ll help design systems that support multiple operating businesses, manage complex financial and operational data, and identify opportunities and execute them to make the business more efficient and profitable.

- Review operational and financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
- Partner with leadership to improve decision-making through better reporting and forecasting.
- Develop and implement systems to track equipment, materials, and surplus inventory.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve purchasing through better vendor and supply chain management.
- Build processes to track excess materials and broker unused inventory across locations.
- Manage and maintain the company’s Service Titan price book
. - Adjust pricing based on supply chain changes, vendor price fluctuations, and market demand.
- Research ways to integrate supplier pricing updates and price index data into internal systems.
- Research and track licensing requirements across multiple states for plumbing and contractor operations.
- Build a centralized system that ensures each business entity maintains proper licensing coverage.
- Analyze regulatory requirements such as:
- Employment or ownership requirements for license holders
- Develop scalable strategies for managing licenses across multiple states.
- Work directly with leadership to identify operational inefficiencies.
- Build new systems and workflows where none currently exist.
- Lead projects that improve cost structure, compliance, and operational scalability.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills
- Ability to work with large datasets
- Interest in operational finance and systems design
- Strong research ability
- Comfortable working in fast-moving environments
- SQL or data tools
- ERP systems
- Process automation or AI tools
- Are highly curious and self-directed
- Like solving complex operational problems
- Are comfortable working closely with leadership in a fast-moving environment
- Prefer building systems instead of maintaining old ones
