Infinity Academy provides a supportive, individualized learning environment where students can grow academically, socially, emotionally, and independently. As Assistant Director, you will play a key leadership role in supporting students, families, and staff while helping ensure the success and continued growth of the program.
Position Summary The Assistant Director of Infinity Academy serves as a member of the educational leadership team and is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the school. This position works closely with the Director of Educational Services to oversee student programming, staff supervision, family engagement, enrollment, compliance, and overall program development.

Essential Responsibilities Leadership & Program Management Assist in overseeing daily school operations and educational programming
Supervise, coach, and evaluate staff members
Participate in staff recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training
Support strategic planning and program development initiatives
Monitor enrollment and assist with student recruitment efforts
Help ensure compliance with educational standards and organizational policies
Student & Family Support Collaborate with families, guardians, and community partners to support student success
Assist in developing and implementing individualized educational, social, and life-skills plans
Support students with academic, behavioral, social, and emotional needs
Facilitate parent conferences and maintain ongoing communication with families
Educational Services & Compliance Monitor student records, documentation, attendance, and reporting requirements
Assist in maintaining quality assurance standards and program compliance
Stay current on best practices in special education and autism services
Support implementation of positive behavior supports and intervention strategies
Team Development Foster a positive, collaborative work environment
Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for staff
Model best practices in education and student support services
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Special Education from an accredited college or university
Current Missouri Teaching Certificate in Special Education and/or Learning Disabilities (ED and/or LD)
Minimum of six (6) years of professional experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder, gifted learners, or other developmental disabilities
At least two (2) years of supervisory, administrative, or management experience
Direct experience supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorder
Experience providing educational or community-based services for individuals with developmental disabilities
Licensed and insured driver with the ability to obtain a Missouri Class E Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree in Special Education or related field
Certification or specialized training in Autism Spectrum Disorder, Gifted Education, or High Incidence Special Education Experience in alternative education settings
Experience with Positive Behavior Supports and behavior intervention strategies
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong leadership and supervisory skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Knowledge of special education principles and best practices
Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, staff, and community partners
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced and evolving environment
Commitment to inclusion, dignity, and independence for individuals with disabilities
