Job Location: Missouri Circuit Courts
The salary reflected represents the base pay for this position and does not include any differential for time-of-service pay for state tenure.

P erform entry level duties in a court, which utilizes an electronic filing system. Work initially is under close supervision while the incumbent learns general office knowledge and specific court policies and procedures.
Work involves responsibility for court case processing which may require the application of independent judgment and the application of statutes, policies, and regulations. Work will involve accounting duties in receiving & disbursing monies, & reconciles financial accounts within a case management system.
Providing direct support for a circuit judge or associate circuit judge providing a full range of responsibilities within the division's jurisdiction.
Applicants must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and external stakeholders. Applicant MUST have EXEMPLARY customer service and respect for authority positions. Accuracy and attention to detail is required.
Performs case processing in receiving and initiating case files. Prepares a variety of documents related to court including court orders, court calendars, notices of hearings, court appearances, or reports; assist with the flow of documents necessary for court assignments; and properly queues electronically filed proceedings for processing
Reviews legal documents for necessary information required for filing; determines processing required and takes necessary action in accordance with court rules requiring a detailed knowledge of applicable terminology, rules and procedures. May include work in the courtroom, operates electronic sound recording equipment, and other courtroom related duties as needed, and may include swearing in witnesses.
Works extensively with the public.
Answers inquiries and furnishes information by reviewing court records.
Assists with answering phone and giving correct information to parties. Makes copies when needed, including looking up old records and research on the old records.
Could include the responsibility for the daily delivery and pick up of mail within the Christian County buildings.
Associate’s Degree in a related field or at least 60 semester hours from an institution of higher learning
Additional experience above the minimum stated may be substituted on a year for year basis for the required education.
Applicants must have strong PC, typing, interpersonal and clerical skills, including knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, Scanner, Lotus Notes, MS Teams and the skill in the operation of standard office equipment.
