Physical Therapist

Role:

Physical Therapist (PT) responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients with orthopedic, neurological, and functional impairments.

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop age-appropriate plans of care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Provide skilled interventions such as therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and balance activities.
• Reassess patient progress and modify treatments accordingly.
• Document treatment activities, patient progress, and discharge summaries accurately and timely.
• Supervise rehabilitation technicians and Physical Therapist Assistants per licensure standards.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home programs, safety, and ongoing rehabilitation needs.
• Participate in professional development, departmental meetings, and quality initiatives.

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preferred: 6 months to 1-year experience in rehabilitation or orthopedic settings, with adult and geriatric populations.
