Overview

Mercy seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will deliver evidence-based patient care, perform assessments, administer medications, coordinate treatment plans, and educate patients and families. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes while using EMR systems and adhering to infection control standards. • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document findings in the EMR
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies safely and accurately
• Monitor patient status, interpret clinical data, and respond to changes in condition
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and self-care
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Maintain strict adherence to infection prevention and patient safety protocols
• Assist with discharge planning and care transitions
• Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives
