Role Overview

Utilizes the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by team members.

Coordinates patient care across departments, maintains patient rights, and safeguards confidentiality, aligning with organizational mission and standards.

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (associate's, diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in the state or compact licensure, meeting all licensing requirements.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or completed within 30 days of hire.
• Additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, PALS, or other unit-specific credentials may be required based on the department.

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.
• Evaluate care effectiveness and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Uphold patient rights, confidentiality, and safety standards.
• Perform duties in accordance with organizational values and service standards.

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Prolonged standing and walking during shifts.
• Capable of reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting to perform tasks.
