Medical Staff Nurse

Position: Medical Staff Nurse - (Full-Time)
Responsible for assessing patients referred by physicians to assure patients are appropriate. Assesses medical history, surgical and anesthesia history, medications and determines if any pretreatment or additional medical clearance is needed prior to procedure. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

MINIMUM Qualifications:

Education:

Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
Licensure:  Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
