Registered Environmental Assessment Practitioner

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver environmental assessment projects from initiation through to completion.
• Prepare and oversee Basic Assessment Reports, Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), and related environmental applications.
• Provide expert guidance on environmental legislation and compliance requirements.
• Engage effectively with clients, specialists, authorities, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate project timelines, deliverables, and quality control.
• Maintain strong professional relationships with clients and regulatory authorities.

• Registered Environmental Assessment Practitioner (EAP) with relevant professional experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ professional EIA experience as a registered EAP.
• Master’s degree in Environmental Management or a related field preferred.
• Strong working knowledge and practical application of:
  • National Environmental Management Act (NEMA)
  • National Water Act (NWA)
  • National Environmental Management:
    Biodiversity Act (NEM)
  • National Environmental Management:
    Air Quality Act (NEM)
  • National Heritage Resources Act (NHRA)
  • Conservation of Agricultural Resources Act (CARA)
  • Related environmental legislation and regulations
• Excellent report writing, technical communication, and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated experience managing client relationships and engaging with government authorities.
