About the Role

Our client is looking for a meticulous and skilled Site Installation Technician to join their team in Paarl . This role focuses on the hands-on installation and setup of specialized equipment and systems at various client sites. You will be responsible for ensuring that installations are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with technical specifications and safety standards. • Perform on-site installations of equipment and systems according to project plans and technical drawings.
• Conduct testing and commissioning of newly installed systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues encountered during the installation process.
• Provide basic training and guidance to clients on the operation of installed systems.
• Maintain detailed records of installation activities, materials used, and site conditions.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and site-specific safety regulations.

• Proven experience as an Installation Technician or in a similar hands-on technical role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, and ability to interpret technical manuals.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Must be physically fit and able to work at heights or in confined spaces if required.
• Willingness to travel to various sites within the Paarl region and surrounding areas.
