Safety Supervisor
Location:
TVA Allen Fossil Plant, 20 minutes north of Olive Branch, MS.

- Complete job site-specific safety plans and audits.
- Collaborate with operations to develop action plans that address challenges and deficiencies.
- Help conduct accident investigations and root cause analysis.
- Identify safety trends and areas for improvement, and communicate findings to management, field supervisors, customers, and employees.
- Actively contribute to the TSG/Beltline safety team, helping establish best practices and drive continuous improvement.
- Lead urgent response to workers’ safety concerns.
- Participate in project planning meetings, working closely with construction and subcontractor managers.
- Establish and maintain effective health and safety communication structures.
- Continuous monitoring of all safety-related documents, reports, and issues to keep them updated.
- Conduct site-specific safety orientations and training for new employees.
- 3-5 years of verifiable construction safety experience.
- A degree in Occupational Safety and Health is preferred.
- CSP or other BCSP certifications are preferred.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety Card required.
- Working knowledge of NFPA 70E, confined space activities, hot work, excavations, and other key safety protocols.
- Must exemplify the organization's core values through professional conduct and leadership.
- Strong understanding of safety policies and regulations.
- Ability to effectively train and communicate safety protocols.
Ability to professionally manage a fast-paced, change-oriented environment. - Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Experience in construction or union environments with fluctuating project volumes is preferred.
- Pass pre-employment and periodic drug and alcohol testing.
