Construction Project Manager

Job Description

The Project Manager will oversee commercial renovation and ground-up construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to quality standards
. This role manages client relationships, project teams, schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and overall project profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage projects from planning through completion.
• Prepare project estimates, budgets, schedules, and pay applications
  .
• Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
• Manage project scope, costs, schedules, and change orders.
• Select and manage subcontractors and review their pay applications.
• Prepare change order proposals and material invoices.
• Work closely with the Project Superintendent on scopes, schedules, and site logistics.
• Provide regular project updates and maintain strong client relationships.
• Monitor project performance, quality, safety, and profitability.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Project Management experience in commercial construction
  , preferably with a General Contractor.
• Strong experience with construction estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and subcontractor management
  .
• Knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and safety/quality standards.
• Experience managing multiple projects and teams of various sizes.
• Strong communication, negotiation, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to solve problems and handle changing priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction/project management software
  .
• Strong client-service mindset and attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
