Our client, a leader in marine and industrial distribution, is seeking a Marine Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative to join their dedicated team. As a Marine Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative, you will be an essential part of the sales support department, helping to deliver exceptional service to customers and grow the company's market presence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

* ** What's the Job?*
* + Sell marine products to business and industry clients through effective telephone and email communication.

+ Provide timely and accurate product quotes, solicit profitable orders, and upsell to existing customers.

+ Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

+ Manage order processing, including standard and special products, returns, credits, and expediting.

+ Utilize computer databases and web applications to verify customer and product information, pricing, and availability.

** What's Needed?*
* + Minimum high school diploma or GED;
Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.

+ At least three (3) years of sales and customer service experience.

+ Previous experience in marine or industrial distribution and safety products.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and internet-based sales systems.

+ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze inventory levels and customer needs.
