The Department of Economics at the University of Toledo invites applications for a lecturer position beginning Fall 2026. The lecturer is expected to teach a mix of face-to-face and online courses during the Fall and Spring semesters. The successful candidate shall have a background in Economics or a related field and shall teach principles of macroeconomics, microeconomics, and upper‑level undergraduate economics courses.
The specific assignment of upper‑level courses will depend on the department’s needs in intermediate economic theory, applied economic courses, and econometrics, as well as the candidate’s training and teaching experience.
An MA in Economics or a related field is required. The candidate must demonstrate the capacity for high‑quality instruction and a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring.
Preferred QualificationsTeaching experience beyond the principles level is preferred.
