We are hiring teachers certified in the U.S. for Grades K-5 Special Education for the  school year. We seek teachers certified to teach in Ohio and willing to seek reciprocity in other states. A dedicated support team will assist you and Elevate K-12 will reimburse you for any fees.

We offer:

• Independent contracts (1099) – no benefits or taxes withheld.
• Paid per hourly session taught. Rates, including prep/admin time, start at $35 per session. Pay varies per program and class details.
• Part‑time hours (generally 10‑20 teaching hours/week).
• Choose your own schedule and build long‑term relationships with students.
• Fully remote – teach from home.

We livestream U.S. certified teachers into public school classrooms across the country. Every classroom has a Classroom Coach to help with management. Our platform provides 24/7 support for teachers and schools.

• Adaptable with semester‑starting classes – most teachers teach 10‑20 h/wk.

• Meet deadlines set by Elevate and the school calendar.
• Tech‑savvy and comfortable in a remote setting.
• Reliable internet and professional teaching environment.

Mandatory requirements

• Passion for teaching.
• Active, verifiable Ohio teaching certification in Special Education.
• Certified and experienced teaching K‑5.
• Must reside in the United States during 2025‑2026.
• A daily available time block of at least five consecutive hours, Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑4 pm EST.
• Part‑time schedule of 10‑20 hours/week during normal school hours.
• Laptop or desktop with reliable high‑speed internet.
