Organization Details Organization Information One hundred forty-seven years ago, Paducah Independent School District opened its doors to offer a commitment to excellent education for the children of Paducah. More than 2,650 students attend our schools because of high expectations and award winning academic, arts and athletic programs. Paducah Schools boast 100% highly qualified teachers; fifty-three percent have master's degrees; twenty three percent hold Rank 1 certification, and nine teachers hold National Board Certification.

PTHS ranks as a top provider in the state of quality Advanced Placement classes. The 2011 graduates earned over $3 million in scholarships.
