  Amazing Grace Lutheran Church is a small, aging family that has a dedicated, engaged membership that has managed its own Ministry of Word and Sacrament for over 15 years. The congregation lacks the “extra-pastoral” expertise needed for counseling – expertise that is unique to and only entrusted to experienced clergy. While preaching (pulpit supply) is appreciated, we primarily require individualized spiritual guidance and counseling commensurate with our aging congregation.
  
  The ideal candidate would possess career‑magnitude experience as a Lutheran Pastor with a strong calling to provide guidance and counseling for individuals - providing the necessary encouragement so they can remain engaged and “finish the race” as their abilities and relationships change.

  If you find yourself traveling through or wanting to visit Western Kentucky on a Sunday, and feel a call to preach and worship, we would love to provide meal & lodging reimbursement, and compensation for pulpit supply. Beyond giving our five ‘lay’ ministers (members of AGLC) a break and getting to meet you, our longer‑term goal is to cast a wide net and forge first‑century itinerant preaching relationships in the 21stcentury.
