We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer to join our client in their industrial manufacturing facility located in the Greater Cleveland, Ohio Area. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in electrical engineering within a manufacturing or industrial setting and possess a strong foundation in power systems, controls, instrumentation, and industrial automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, troubleshoot, and optimize electrical systems and equipment for manufacturing operations.
  • Support the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems, including power distribution, control panels, motors, drives, PLCs, and instrumentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, operations, and project engineering, to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure all electrical systems comply with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., NEC, NFPA, OSHA).
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions for equipment failures and process disruptions.
  • Assist with capital projects, including scope development, cost estimation, vendor coordination, and project execution.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of electrical systems, drawings, and maintenance records.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline (Electrical Engineering preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of power distribution systems, motor controls, PLC programming, instrumentation, and automation systems.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with industrial automation platforms (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
  • Exposure to project management or capital projects.
