Project Geologist—Kentucky Fluorspar About the Company
Clean Tech Vanadium Mining Corp. ("Clean Tech") is a highly specialised critical mineral exploration and mining company (TSXV: CTV,OTCQB: CTVFF).
Clean Tech's Fluorspar Project spans over 17,750 acres and collectively control key segments of the Illinois Kentucky Fluorspar District's (IKFD) most productive fault systems. This area hasn’t seen modern exploration and offers unique opportunities for new deposit discoveries. An exploration program is currently underway to expand current resources and find new deposits within the company’s land holdings.
To support its exploration program, Clean Tech is currently seeking a Project Geologist to work in the IKFD. The position is a work‑from‑home role that will require rotational (14/14 or 20/10) field work.
Key Responsibilities Geological Modeling & Data Analysis- Use ArcGIS to map drill hole data, mineral trends, and structural features to guide exploration and land acquisition.
- Use Leapfrog to:
- Import and manage drill hole data (Excel-based datasets).
- Model mineral deposits.
- Estimate resource tonnage and grades.
- Develop and maintain 3D geological and ore deposit models.
- Support overall project exploration activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants on:
- Drill program design and management.
- Core logging and sampling.
- Land acquisitions and liaising with local landowners.
- Develop familiarity with and apply geological understanding of the Kentucky–Illinois Fluorspar District.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and documentation of geological and project data.
- Proficiency in ArcGIS and Leapfrog (or similar GIS software).
- Experience working on drill programs, core logging, and field mapping.
- Proven experience handling drill hole datasets.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-5+ years relevant experience.
- Required:
Candidate must be within ~200 miles of Paducah, KY or willing to relocate for contract duration.
