The Mental Health Technician is responsible for performing delegated assignments to meet the age-specific physical, social, and behavioral needs of the patients. The MHT provides routine non-acute physical, behavioral, and mental care to the patient on the milieu under the direction of licensed staff.
Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System is a 140-bed hospital offering inpatient services for adolescents, adults, military, veterans and first responders. Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System is a psychiatric care provider focused on mental health and substance abuse. Our team includes psychiatrists, licensed therapists, certified alcohol and drug counselors, activity therapists and teachers, with registered nurses on site 24 hours a day.

Job Requirements:
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- Experience in direct patient care AND/OR
- Completion of Nursing Assistant Training/previous psychiatric experience preferred
