Job Details:

• 2 years of nursing experience required with travel experience mandatory

• Cardiac telemetry experience required with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias

• Pre/post cardiac patient care including Central Line care and management

• Patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6 for days, nights, and weekends

• Floating required to like units (Tele 4B)

• Epic charting system experience required

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale

• Royal Blue scrubs required

• 24 hours of orientation provided

• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations

• Daily census of approximately 10 patients

• Skills include pacemaker management, post cardiac procedures, heparin protocols, cardiac drips management, chest tube care, and high flow nasal cannula

• Must be comfortable with isolation precautions and PPE protocols

• Two pre-approved time off requests allowed per contract

• Must maintain distance of 75+ miles from facility to qualify as traveler

This healthcare facility features a comprehensive cardiac telemetry unit providing specialized care for patients with cardiovascular conditions. The facility offers extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretarial support. The organization maintains high standards for cardiac monitoring and patient care with modern equipment and protocols for managing complex cardiac conditions.
