Safety Consultant

CSC, Inc. specializes in providing tailored safety services, offering full-time safety program management at a fraction of the cost of hiring an in-house safety professional. The company develops customized safety programs, conducts in-person training, performs site inspections, and ensures compliance with primarily OSHA but also MSHA, DOT and COE regulations. Additional services include drug testing, accident investigations, and workers' compensation claims management.

CSC, Inc. also supports clients with pre-qualification processes for platforms such as ISN, Browz, Avetta, and PEC Premier.

This is a full-time, on-site Safety Consultant role based in Paducah, KY. The Safety Consultant will conduct workplace safety inspections and assessments, develop and implement safety programs, and provide training to client employees. The role involves ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations, as well as managing risk reduction strategies, investigating accidents, and supporting clients with safety certifications and site pre-qualification requirements.

• Proficiency in Safety Engineering and Process Safety practices
• Knowledge and experience in Occupational Health and Environment Health and Safety (EHS) systems
• Strong training skills with expertise in delivering safety education and fostering safety culture
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail for identifying and mitigating hazards
• Familiarity with OSHA and MSHA regulations and compliance requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or equivalent are a plus
