Personal Injury & Car Accident Law Firm is seeking a Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Attorney with 1-3 years of pre-litigation experience to join our growing firm in Corpus Christi, TX. The qualified candidate will provide legal representation to advocate for clients and deliver outstanding client service.
- Licensed to practice in Texas
- Graduated from an accredited law school
- Member in good standing of the State Bar of Texas
- Effective communication skills with excellent written, verbal, and analytical abilities
- Self-motivated with strong negotiating skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage and move pending cases forward independently, with support as needed
- Litigation experience and readiness to litigate claims and take them to trial when necessary
- Preferably 1-3 years of personal injury litigation experience with strong litigation skills (discovery, depositions, court appearances, and trial preparation)
- Manage a docket of personal injury cases
- File lawsuits
- Draft and respond to discovery
- Prepare clients for depositions, mediations, motion hearings, and trials
- Evaluate claims with claims representatives
- Collaborate with paralegals and legal secretaries to propound written discovery, organize records, coordinate depositions, obtain experts, and prepare for depositions and trials
- Base pay range: $50,000.00/yr - $/yr
