Forklift Operator

• 1st Shift: 6:30am - 3:00pm, Monday-Friday
• Pay Rate: $18.48/hour

• Unloads inbound shipments safely and moves product to appropriate locations.
• Stacks and stores products in designated areas using a forklift, push‑pull, or other powered equipment.
• Pulls and prepares products for shipment by ensuring the exact number and type of product is loaded.
• Moves product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers and the production floor.
• Use of electric pallet jack/forklift/swing reach.
• Operates all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following established warehouse safety standards and regulations.
• Immediately reports any incidents or accidents involving PIT equipment to a Supervisor/Manager.
• Maintains appropriate records and reports to guarantee inventory control and security.
• Assists in physical inventories.
• Ensures proper stock rotation.
• May require performing picking duties in an efficient manner.
• All other duties assigned as based on the business the warehouse supports.

• At least 1 year of experience and/or using warehouse distribution equipment.
• Maintain compliance with CTDI's PIT certification requirements.
• Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion.
• Basic knowledge of computers and MS Office (Excel, and Outlook).
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Previous experience working in a high‑volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e., testing and repair), or forward logistics operation a plus.
• Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher‑level staff.
• Time‑management skills.
• Written and verbal communication skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.

• Warehouse environment.
• The ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 50 lbs., if necessary. The ability to stand and walk for an extended period of time, if necessary.
• The ability to bend, push, pull, twist, and reach in a continuous/repetitive capacity, if necessary.
