Collaborates with other associates to build bakery team; communicates with team and flexible to cover other areas;
Prepares bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment; follows recipes; wraps, labels, stores merchandise; ensures food safety, sanitation, cold chain, and inventory management;
Leverages digital tools to drive sales and engage associates; uses handheld technology for decisions on production, ordering, training, and product quality;
Maintains operational excellence and work area; ensures quality and date control; secures fragile/high-shrink merchandise; eliminates waste; assists members' purchasing decisions; ensures proper packaging, labeling, and storage;
Complies with company policies, Open Door Policy, and implements related action plans in business processes.
