Night shift LPN/RN

- Shift Differentials:

- Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Prepare and administer medications (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and record prescriptions. Report adverse reactions in accordance with policy.
- Record patient medical information and vital signs.
- Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, interpreting and recording electronic displays.
- Initiate corrective action when a patient shows adverse symptomatology.
- Provide bedside care for a wide variety of medical patients.
- Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
- Prepare equipment and aid the physician during patient examinations and treatments.
- Respond to life‑saving situations based on nursing standards and protocol.
- Participate in discharge planning.
- Utilize time management skills.
- Record all care information concisely, accurately, completely, and promptly in the appropriate format.
- Perform other position‑related duties as assigned, depending on setting.
- Current LPN or RN license in state of practice.
- At least one year of LPN or RN experience in a long‑term care setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of Matrix Care is preferred.
