Day Shift Licensed Practical Nurse; LPN​/Registered Nurse; RN

Position Overview

Stonecreek, a 90‑bed community in Paducah, KY’s medical district, is hiring an LPN/RN for the day shift. The position offers a $5,000 sign‑on bonus.

• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Prepare and administer medications orally, subcutaneously, or via IV, and record all administrations.
• Record patient medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, interpret and record electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action when the patient shows adverse symptomatology.
• Provide bedside care for a wide variety of medical patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during examination and treatment.
• Respond to life‑saving situations per nursing standards and protocol.
• Participate in discharge planning.
• Utilize time‑management skills.
• Record all care information accurately, concisely, and in a timely manner on the appropriate forms.
• Perform other position‑related duties as assigned, depending on the setting.

• Current LPN/RN license in the state of Kentucky.
• At least one year of LPN or RN experience in a long‑term care setting is preferred.
