Registered Nurse Post Op​/Vascular Unit Day Shift

Overview

Full‑time position (36 hours per week) with 12‑hour shifts starting at 7PM on a 31‑bed private unit. Common diagnoses and surgeries include colon resection, urologic procedures, lower extremity peripheral artery disease, carotid endarterectomy, thoracotomy, and abdominal pain.

• Assess and identify patient needs.
• Implement appropriate interventions considering patient population and departmental scope.
• Delegate nursing care activities and supervise staff.
• Establish and maintain a nursing care plan.
• Ensure interventions resolve identified problems.
• Perform technical aspects of care competently.

• Current RN licensure recognized by the Kentucky State Board of Nursing.
