Overview
Full‑time position (36 hours per week) with 12‑hour shifts starting at 7PM on a 31‑bed private unit. Common diagnoses and surgeries include colon resection, urologic procedures, lower extremity peripheral artery disease, carotid endarterectomy, thoracotomy, and abdominal pain.
Responsibilities- Assess and identify patient needs.
- Implement appropriate interventions considering patient population and departmental scope.
- Delegate nursing care activities and supervise staff.
- Establish and maintain a nursing care plan.
- Ensure interventions resolve identified problems.
- Perform technical aspects of care competently.
- Current RN licensure recognized by the Kentucky State Board of Nursing.
