Registered Nurse ICU Nights

Job Summary

ICU RN – 7pm shift, 36 hours weekly. The RN prescribes, delegates, and coordinates nursing care of patients; participates in patient and family teaching; and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary, nursing, and other patient‑team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Creates a positive customer service environment.

• Assessment and identification of patient needs.
• Implementation of appropriate interventions considering the needs of patient populations per department scope of service.
• Delegation of nursing care activities and provisions of supervision; establishes and maintains a plan for the delivery of nursing care.
• Assures that nursing care interventions and activities are directed to resolve problems; performs technical aspects of care competently.

• Current RN licensure recognized by the Kentucky State Board of Nursing.
• ADN or higher education.
