LPN - FT Night Shift
Continue CARE Hospital at Paducah is a 37-bed Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) Hospital specializing in medically complex patients requiring an average length of stay of 25 to 30 days. A typical LTAC patient may require care for: ventilator weaning, complex wounds, infections requiring IV antibiotics, complications from extensive surgery, multi-system failures, TPN, neurological / traumatic injuries, and those not yet able to participate in acute rehabilitation due to medical complexity.
The LPN will utilize; the nursing process, documentation, communication skills, essential job functions and general skills and collaboration with the RN, physicians, and other team members to meet performance requirements. He/she is accountable for providing nursing care as assigned by the RN and team participation to achieve and measure quality cost effective outcomes. The LPN is responsible for collecting data, implementing the plan of care and communicating patient information verbally and in writing.
NIGHT SHIFT 6:45PM-7AM
Qualifications:
Current LPN license to practice in Kentucky. BLS is required upon hire. Experience working in an acute care environment and critical care experience preferred.
